Tavira and Altura are situated on what is known as the eastern end of the Algarve. Both locations are approximately 35 minutes from the airport albeit different motorway junctions.

Each location has a fantastic beach both in the region of 10km long. To access the beach at Tavira a shuttle boat is required or you can take a train straight onto the beach.

Tavira is a very old fishing town with cobbled streets, many lovely restaurants, an ancient roman bridge and 32 churches all steeped in history
Altura is a newer town located 10 minutes from the Spanish border, with many restaurants to suit all tastes
